Mortgages and Re-mortgages
We always source from the whole of the mortgage market and then compare to products offered direct by lenders. If the best advice is for you to apply direct, then that's what we'll do!!

No charge is made for our advice as in the event we process your mortgage, we will be paid by the lender for doing so.

Insurances

Life and Critical Illness protection
We work with a wide selection of major insurance companies which means you get the most competitive of premiums dependant on your personal circumstances. In the event you can find comparable life and critical illness cover elsewhere at a lower price, we guarantee to at least match that price or pay you £25.

Buildings and Contents
Our panel comprises 17 providers who offer excellent policies for different types of properties ensuring you get tailored cover. These are available for both personal properties and for landlords and tenants.

Cost is not the only consideration for this type of policy - an excellent claims record combined with comprehensive levels of cover is paramount.

Accident Sickness and Unemployment Cover / Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance
Again, the 17 providers on my panel offer excellent levels of protection at competitive prices. In today's uncertain job market, taking Unemployment cover is a wise financial planning decision.

The maximum benefit will be paid for 24 months (dependant on provider) and then you are reliant on State benefits.

Income Protection
This is a longer-term solution to being unable to work through accident or illness. You set the term at outset which could be to a specific age or pension age. Once in claim, the benefit will be paid until you can return to work, you reach the end of the term of the policy or you die (whichever comes first).

Equity Release

This is designed for people over 60 who are asset rich and cash poor and want to release money from their property.

Equity release is a highly complex area and not for everyone so it is essential that good advice is sought. Before entering into any arrangement, all other possible sources of income are explored such as State benefits or other savings and investments.

The family is also consulted if desired by the applicants as Equity Release has an impact on future inheritances. Independent legal advice is also a requirement before entering into any arrangement.

Commercial Mortgages

Finding the best funding for a business trying to start up or one which is looking to grow and expand is not straight forward. Many business people tend to look at their current bankers and for good reason; they know the traffic through the business accounts and have built a relationship.

From our experience however, this does not always represent best value as existing banks will pitch their solution at the highest possible price to maximise their income relying on the applicant not to look around.

Competitors willing to fight for the business will often offer better terms and this cost saving can offset the inconvenience of providing accounts to a new lender.

At the very least, shopping around for a better deal can drive an existing banker to improve their proposition so it is a win-win result for everyone. Commercial mortgages are typically not regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

Debt Management

More and more people are struggling to cope with the debt they have accumulated and this is leading to incredibly high stress levels. There are many companies advertising for people in these situations to contact them so they can set up Individual Voluntary Arrangements, Debt Management Plans or even bankruptcy. Not surprisingly, to pay for these hugely expensive advertisements, fees to enter into any of these arrangements are correspondingly high.

We work closely with a company called New Tomorrow. New Tomorrow is one of four debt solutions companies in the UK who have been accredited with The Insolvency Exchange’s Debt Standard award. This award is given to companies who can prove they offer quality, honest and reliable debt advice.

A fully online factfind will be carried out ensuring a full analysis to establish which solution best suits your needs and start sorting out your finances.
